Nearly a decade of practical website work.
Fisher INC is founder-led by Josh Fisher, helping businesses, agencies and WordPress site owners build, fix, maintain and improve their websites without overcomplicating the job.
Fisher INC started with freelance work and grew from there.
Josh started out freelancing on PeoplePerHour, taking on the kind of website jobs that needed a practical developer who could get stuck in and solve the problem.
From there, he worked with agencies, supported different types of clients and projects, and then took Fisher INC fully independent. That mix of freelance, agency and direct client work is a big part of how we approach websites now.
The aim is simple: understand the project properly, give honest advice, and do the work in a way that makes sense for the site, the business and the people who have to use it.
Direct advice is part of the service.
We work with local businesses, UK SMEs, agencies and WordPress site owners, so the work can vary from a small fix through to a more involved development project.
What stays the same is the way we communicate. If something is a bad idea, we will say so. If there is a cleaner option, we will explain it. If something is not worth spending money on yet, we will be upfront about that too.
Clients tend to value that honesty. It keeps projects grounded, keeps decisions clearer and helps avoid the kind of website work that looks busy but does not actually help.
